press : dope ammo records - dope05 - drunken masters & rareform - sonic rattle
review of dope ammo - dope05 - 7 ( mixmag update ) august 2000 :
sampling dsk's house classic on ffrr 'what would we do?', this tidy little
stepper has a unique energy as well as having a hypnotic groove with
twisted bass that morph's into various sounds.
the flipside has a remix by new vision's rareform which is slightly tougher
with angrier bass and more of a repetitive bass section. well worth checking out.

review of dope ammo - dope05 - knowledge mag august 2000 :
to be honest, i don't think i've heard much from the dope ammo stable to date,
with this being number five, but i reckon i've been missing out. this rub from
the drunken masters is a catchy number with a strong 'floor presence, combining
subtle melody, a memorable vocal loop and a dirty sawing riff to keep the head bangers happy.
flip it for rareform's darker take on the track, with its wicked
extra vocal loop, which gives this record double the chance of getting drawn.
make sure you seek it out.

side a gives you this waking up feeling as the strings roll around
in your head as the beat steps in a militant fashion. the bass enters
and morphs in< and from then on it is pure rolling to the finish, one for the dance floor.
on the other side rareform bring in a harder hardstep mixes the "every thing you do"
vocal floats about and brings with it the stabbing bass of the remix to roll this track out,
another good mix for the floor!
