review of nv2 recordings - nv2001 - knowledge magazine november 2001 :

rareform
quicky following on the heals of the first release on nv2, rareform comes in nicely with a little four tracker of dance floor stompers. 'hunted' provides ample step and clout with melodic b-lines and rattling drums.

next inline is 'frequencies' with its progressive hardstepping breaks and dirty andalogue bass. razor sharp beats
complement heavy analogue surges with 'cobra doll from hell'.

like a slithering snake in the night, this one will sneak up on you and before you know it you're hit with the venom.

last up is 'visions beyond'. where strings parade across an aural landscape of deep sucking bass, swirling sci-fi effects and cold, techy percussion.

review of nv2 recordings - nv2001 - http://www.starbass.com november 2001 :

the nv label debuts with four cuts from rareform who obviously likes it dark as he crafts each groove with hard penetrating breakloops and riveting percussion to back gritty analog bass flexation, morphing synth textures, echoing becons, and ominous chording. tuff combat-style breaks set the mood for a fist-pumpin' dance floor and potential speaker damage... nice.
